Books, movies, music; what's in your top 5 right now?
i'm assuming this question refers to a mixture of the three, so... In not quite any particular order...
1. Nightmare Before Christmas Sountrack: The music from this movie has been in my head for about three weeks now, due to it's rerelease in 3d the past week. i was absolutely thrilled when i realized just how close the rerelease was, and i started humming/singing the songs to myself. We saw it in 3d last Saturday, but the songs are still stuck in my head. Oh well. "... Cuz iiiiiii'm the boogeyman..."
2. Saw 3: Haven't seen it yet, but, tomorrow! i'm absolutely thrilled about it.
3. Saw 2 Uncut: i figured they were going to release this one uncut soon, because they released an uncut version of Saw 1 last year around this time right before Saw 2 came out in theaters. So with 3 coming out tomorrow, it makes perfect sense that Saw 2 came out this past Tuesday all uncut and delicious. Due to issues this week i haven't purchased it yet, but i'm planning on stopping by Best Buy today to pick it up on the way to the dentist. The packaging for the uncut edition of the first installment was BRILLIANT, so i'm looking forward to seeing how this one looks.
4. Loop: i've had this on my nightstand with the intention of rereading it for a few weeks now, but i haven't actually started to do so. Perhaps this weekend.
5. Xmen 3 sountrack: People gave this movie and it's director way too much shit, in my humble opinion. The action and visuals were amazing, and for once, Halle Berry was almost believable as Storm. But one of my favorite things about this movie was the instrumental score, which is the best of the three by far. It fits perfectly with the tone of the movie, but doesn't overpower it.
